Day 5 of the ALGS Split 1 matches on Saturday started off with the EMEA region, as usual. Top Dogs were in great form, taking two wins out of the six total games. That said, there were plenty of impressive plays across the board.

Top Dogs pushed the high ground to take Major Pushers down as the final ring closed in around them. Dodging Bombardments, they tried to restore shields, but they ultimately couldn’t hold out against Kungarna.

Game 2 came down to a 1-v-1 between DungeonMast33rs Maxim “Exens” Dmitruk and the final member of Top Dogs. With only 10 HP left, Exens managed to reload and swap his shield out, killing his enemy in the process and snatching the win for DungeonMast33rs.

This game was RedDragon’s to win. They had the high ground going into the final ring, and one of the other team’s Valkyrie basically asked to be shot down. From there, RedDragon dropped into the fray and quickly eliminated the remaining squads.
Game 4
Game 4 belongs to @TopDogsApex with an effortless finish.

Game 4 saw Top Dogs’ second win of the day. Running a Crypto, Caustic and Wraith squad, they managed to play an extremely clean game and take the win with ease.

Forg Gang used their distant position to their advantage at the end of Game 5. While the other two remaining squads were bleeding each other out, Forg crept up and found themselves in a 3-v-2 fight that they won handily.

Top Dogs were looking to add a third W to the day, but Myztro foiled them and took the last game of Day 5 for themselves. The winning squad finished with an impressive 14 kills.
