Gaming peripherals company Corsair has announced a partnership with North American game publisher Ubisoft for its popular online multiplayer tactical shooter, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. The latter will become the leading sponsor of the Rainbow Six Pro League, along with two major tournaments in 2020 that include the Six Invitational 2020 and the Six Major.

“Rainbow Six Siege has become a leading esports title in recent years, and we’re glad to have been a part of the phenomenon,” said Lauren Premo, Director of Gaming Marketing at CORSAIR, in a release. “As we increase our support for the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League and upcoming tournaments in 2020, we look forward to helping both the game and its enthusiastic community reach new heights.”
Corsair and Ubisoft will work together on in-game collaborations and brand activations. The former will provide PC hardware and gaming peripherals at live events. It will also host live demo stations and giveaways for attendees at live events. In addition, Corsair will develop specially designed mice and keyboards for professional esports players in the Rainbow Six Siege scene, through feedback provided by them.

Corsair is a well-known name in the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene, through existing partnerships with teams that include Varsity Gaming, Team Secret, Team Vitality, and Nora Rengo. The company also sponsors live streamers and content creators in the space like George “KingGeorge” Kassa and AnneMunition. Some of the gaming peripheral brand’s recent acquisitions include streaming product company Elgato Gaming, custom gaming PCs creator Origin Computers, and gaming controller brand SCUF Gaming.
