There are over 30 different Mates players can unlock in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

One of the coolest ways for players to express themselves in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is using duel mates. These Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Mates are companions that sit on the side of the game board and interact with what is going on. Here is a complete list of every Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Mate in the game.

Mission Rewards Duel Mates

These Mates are obtainable from various missions that can be seen under the Unlimited Missions tab on the main menu. To unlock these Mates, all players have to do is progress through the rewards tracker for some of the lifetime missions. For example, for the Soccer Ball, all players have to do is summon 30 monsters. Later in the same rewards track, players can unlock the Record Player for summoning 200 monsters.

Purchase Duel Mates from Shop

All of these Mates can be purchased with Gems in the in-game shop. At the publishing of this article there are only four that are available for purchase, and they all cost the same amount of gems. To buy one of these mates will cost players 300 gems, the equivalent to three in-game packs.

  • ASh Blossom & Joyous Spring

  • Cyber Dragon Infinity
  • Borreload Dragon

Solo Mode

There are various Mates that are tied to certain Solo Mode stories. For example, Geargiano can be unlocked by completing the Geargia story mode arc. Here are the list of Solo Mode Mates players can unlock as they progress through the Solo Mode:

Datamine and others

Outside of these, there are multiple Mates that are found in the game files that are currently unreleased. Data mines have shown what players can expect in the future when it comes to new Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Mates. Outside of these data mines, Pot of Greed is currently available through the in-game Duel Pass when it reaches level 100. Here is a list of the new Mates coming to Yu-Gi-Oh!
