Blizzard announces unnamed survival game in a new universe

The game will feature new heroes, stories and adventures

Blizzard Entertainment has announced its plan to create an unnamed survival game that will take place in a whole new universe. The game, which will be available for PC and console players, will feature new heroes, stories and adventures. According to the official announcement, the survival game would require storytellers and world-builders.

“For thirty years, Blizzard has been creating universes for millions of players around the globe,” the announcement reads.

The introduction to the unnamed survival game arrives after Microsoft’s recent acquisition announcement of Activision-Blizzard. Blizzard has not yet revealed the name of the upcoming survival game.

Blizzard’s next chapter

Blizzard posted about the new game on Twitter, stating, “We’re building a survival game in an all-new universe. Join us in writing our next chapter.”

In the announcement, the organization also emphasized the need for a diverse team of developers who will lend their voices as well as listen. The reveal called for individuals who enjoy survival games and collaborative team environments to apply. Those who get hired will be working with experienced developers at the early stage of the project, the announcement stated.
