The MultiVersus roster has brought together characters from a wide range of Warner Bros. and Warner Bros.-adjacent properties. This crossover platform fighting game allows players to battle as cartoon characters, comic book heroes, and even real-world humans.

As the game receives constant updates, fans can undoubtedly expect several new fighters to join the base roster. In addition, there’s plenty of information out there that can help fans guess which new characters may be coming next. Here’s a rundown of every confirmed and leaked character in the MultiVersus roster.

When the game’s open beta became fully available, the MultiVersus roster included 17 unique characters. This base roster included the following characters:

  • Shaggy from “Scooby-Doo”
  • Velma from “Scooby-Doo”
  • Batman from DC Comics
  • Harley Quinn from DC Comics
  • Superman from DC Comics
  • Wonder Woman from DC Comics
  • Bugs Bunny from “Looney Tunes”
  • Taz from “Looney Tunes”
  • LeBron James from “Space Jam: A New Legacy”
  • Steven Universe from “Steven Universe”
  • Garnet from “Steven Universe”
  • Finn from “Adventure Time”
  • Jake from “Adventure Time”
  • Arya Stark from “Game of Thrones”
  • Iron Giant from “The Iron Giant”
  • Tom & Jerry from “Tom and Jerry”
  • Reindog (original character)

In addition, many characters have special cosmetic skins called Variants, some of which have their own unique voice acting. For example, Uncle Shagworthy and Cake have completely different voice lines from Shaggy and Jake, respectively, despite having the same movesets.

As of the beginning of Season 1, another four characters are confirmed to enter the game over the course of the season. This line-up of confirmed fighters includes the following:

  • Morty from “Rick and Morty”
  • Rick from “Rick and Morty”
  • Black Adam from DC Comics
  • Stripe from “Gremlins”

Leaks have been an ubiquitous part of MultiVersus’ development history. From Juan “Hungrybox” DeBiedma’s initial roster leak to a number of files uncovered by dataminers, nearly every known character in MultiVersus was leaked before they were officially confirmed.

While likely not exhaustive, these leaks have provided players with a large number of characters that they can expect to join the game in the future. Here’s the full list of leaked MultiVersus fighters:

  • Scooby-Doo from “Scooby-Doo”
  • The Joker from DC Comics
  • Nubia from DC Comics (potentially a Wonder Woman Variant)
  • Raven from DC Comics
  • Static Shock from DC Comics
  • Poison Ivy from DC Comics
  • Marvin the Martian from “Looney Tunes”
  • Daffy Duck from “Looney Tunes”
  • Daenerys Targaryen from “Game of Thrones”
  • The Hound from “Game of Thrones”
  • Cromulon from “Rick and Morty” (possibly a reference to the already-existing stage rather than a playable character)
  • Gizmo from “Gremlins” (reportedly a two-in-one character with Stripe)
  • Betelguese from “Beetlejuice”
  • The Wicked Witch of the West from “The Wizard of Oz”
  • Gandalf from “The Lord of the Rings”
  • Legolas from “The Lord of the Rings”
  • Harry Potter from “Harry Potter”
  • Ron Weasley from “Harry Potter”
  • Fred Flintstone from “The Flintstones”
  • Johnny Bravo from “Johnny Bravo”
  • Max Rockatansky from “Mad Max”
  • Ben Tennyson from “Ben 10”
  • Godzilla from “Godzilla”
  • King Kong from “King Kong”
  • Neo from “The Matrix”
  • Craig Williams from “Craig of the Creek”
  • Samurai Jack from “Samurai Jack”
  • Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup from “The Powerpuff Girls”
  • Yakko, Wakko and Dot from “Animaniacs”
  • Scorpion from “Mortal Kombat”
  • Sub-Zero from “Mortal Kombat”
  • Ted Lasso from “Ted Lasso”
  • Emmet from “The Lego Movie”
  • Naruto from “Naruto”
  • Wreck-it Ralph or Fix-it Felix from “Wreck-it-Ralph”
  • The Hulk from Marvel Comics
  • Eleven from “Stranger Things”
  • Rex (original character)

Alongside all of these characters, there are a few more original characters that appear to be placeholders. The character Ninja could be a placeholder for Naruto, while the character Brute could be a placeholder for the Hulk or Wreck-it Ralph. There is also a leaked character named Frontline Support, thought it is unclear who this could be a placeholder for.

In addition, fans should keep in mind that not all of these characters will necessarily make the final MultiVersus roster. For example, files relating to “The Lord of the Rings” characters appear to have been cut. It is possible that licensing issues could prevent them from entering the game along with other third-party characters.

The MultiVersus Twitter account has also weighed in on the validity of leaks in the past. After confirming Velma, who had already been leaked, the account tweeted that “not all of the leads out there are true.” As a result, fans should not necessarily expect every leaked character to make it into the MultiVersus roster.
