If you have been following along with the main story in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, then you might have started the “Sidon of the Zora” quest. This quest will eventually require you to find an NPC named Jiahto at Toto Lake, which is one of the smaller lakes in Tears of the Kingdom. While you are technically able to find Jiahto before even starting this quest, you will likely need some help to make it possible.
Before embarking on the trek to find Jiahto, I recommend you at least have the Paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom. The journey to Toto Lake is a long one if you’re going by foot or horse, so a Paraglider cuts down your travel time significantly. In any case, I will explain exactly how to find Jiahto in Tears of the Kingdom in the guide below.
Finding Jiahto in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
There are a couple of different ways you can choose to head to Toto Lake. The lake is found north of Zora’s Domain and is most easily accessed by unlocking and using the Upland Zorana Tower (coordinates 2858, 0582, 0379). Once you have it activated, you can glide down to Toto Lake and speak to Jiahto’s assistant, who is standing in the middle of the lake (coordinates 3461, 0872, 039).
Jiahto is found in a small cave on the lake, and speaking to him will set you off on another task that involves you clearing an ancient slate so he can read it. This slate is covered with mud, and you can wash it away by using a Splash Fruit on it. After you complete this task, go back and talk to Jiahto to finish the quest and continue on with the main story in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
