The new week of Fortnite has begun, with Week 5 starting along with Tuesday’s update. As such, new challenges have gone live that focus on Meowscles, one of the Season 2 Battle Pass skins. Last week it was TNTina, and two weeks before that it was Brutus. However, unlike the previous two characters’ challenges, Meowscles’ tasks don’t seem very centered on one topic. Instead, we have a wide range of challenges that will take players all over the Fortnite island. For today’s guide, we’ll be going over the “Visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack, and Crash Site without touching water” challenge.
How to complete this Fortnite Week 5 challenge
As you may have guessed, this challenge needs to be completed in one match. Luckily, the locations you have to visit aren’t too far away from each other, meaning you can land in one spot and not have to traverse the whole map.
However, the catch with this challenge is you can’t touch any body of water. That makes it fairly difficult, as each location is surrounded by the ocean. Fear not, though. We have some strategies to help you complete this challenge with ease.
First off, we need to know where to go. Look below at our map to see each location.
As you can see from the map, landing in the top left corner is most likely your best bet. The left island is Coral Cove, the right island is the Crash Site, and further south is the Stack Shack. For this challenge, we recommend landing at either Coral Cove or the Crash Site, securing a boat, then driving it around to the other two locations.
However, you can also land at The Rig, hop in a Choppa, and simply fly around to the various locations. This is a bit risky, though, as the Choppa is usually contested heavily. One additional strategy is to go into Team Rumble and build up around each location. Once you’re high enough, simply jump off and deploy your glider.
If you manage to complete this challenge, you’ll be awarded 40,000 Battle Pass XP. Make sure to keep up with Daily Esports for more Fortnite challenge guides!
