The ex-pro player, who had to leave BeÅŸiktaÅŸ Esports due to his involvement in the scandal, did not mention anything about his girlfriend and ex-BBL Queens player Dilara Toprakçı, who was also one of the 40 detained people. Instead, he maintained his innocence while stressing that since the investigation’s details are private, he cannot discuss the legal process.

“As I said in the video I uploaded at the start of this whole event, I am the victim in this, not the suspect,” tecoNe wrote. “I have the utmost confidence that the ongoing legal process will prove this undoubtedly once it ends. The fact that I was released from custody after my statement makes me believe this further.”

TecoNe also mentioned how the situation has damaged his reputation and that he plans to pursue “any necessary legal processes” against those who make untrue claims about his involvement.

The full statement is as follows:

To the general public:

Hey friends,

There has been a group of disturbing accusations, mentioned a lot in the news, involving my name. These accusations have been taken to judicial levels and I have been asked for a statement about the mentioned issue.

Firstly I have to say that details of the investigation I was kept detained about is not public, so I will not say anything about the legal process. As I said in the video I uploaded at the start of this whole event, I am the victim in this, not the suspect. I have the utmost confidence that the ongoing legal process will prove this undoubtedly once it ends. The fact that I was released from custody after my statement makes me believe this further.

As all of you know I have been streaming for many hours in my long career as a streamer and a pro player and I have been trying to improve myself with the support of those who love and believe in me and succeed in my aforementioned efforts. I sadly have to say that these events have led everyone who knows or doesn’t know me to have bad impressions of my character. I understand some of these things said about my character, but I also know some people are purposely using untrue declarations to hurt my reputation. Even though this issue is now in the legal system, I will start any necessary legal processes on those who continue to say and declare things in bad faith.

To meet with those who support me as soon as possible on streams
