The First 007 First Light Mods Are In, and One Turns Bond Into Lenny Kravitz

007 First Light Already Has Mods Letting You Play as Lenny Kravitz, Agent 47, or a French Maid

IO Interactive’s James Bond origin story has only been out for a few days, but modders have already gotten to work on the important stuff: letting you skip the intros, run cutscenes at absurdly wide ultrawide resolutions, ditch the HUD, and play the TacSim mode as someone other than a young James Bond.

The mod you want for the last one is Expanded Outfits. It takes 21 of the outfits you can normally pick in TacSim and reskins them into far more adventurous options. You can play as Bond in his underpants, Damien Webb in his gold mask, Miss Moneypenny, YouTube guest JackSepticEye, Theresa Lorca in her Bond-girl bikini, a suspiciously familiar bald assassin, and plenty more. The rock-star reskin in question lets you run around as the man behind “Are You Gonna Go My Way” and “American Woman,” which is a long way from a tuxedo and a martini.

You’ll still have to play through the campaign as plain old James Bond for now. But give it time. The inevitable nude mods and the customary Thomas the Tank Engine swap probably aren’t far behind, since no big PC release escapes either one for long.

If you’re after the more practical stuff, there are fixes for higher FOV and camera control, skipping the intro, toggling the HUD, and an ultrawide cutscenes fix. For most of them, installation is as simple as copying and pasting the files into your install directory, with no mod manager needed. Still, read the instructions for each one before you start.
