The best M4A1 loadout in XDefiant

A contender for the top AR spot

The M4A1 is one of the most recognizable assault rifles in the video game industry, and it makes a triumphant return in XDefiant. The classic AR features great stats across the board and doesn’t really lack in any one area. While it might not be better than the revered ACR 6.8, you can still blow enemies away with the M4A1 when you use its best overall loadout in XDefiant.

For some fans, the M4A1 might seem like the easy choice when picking an assault rifle. It’s the default class you start out with in XDefiant and it’s one of the most classic video game weapons of all time. However, these reasons don’t mean that the M4A1 isn’t one of, if not the strongest weapon in its class. Players just need the right attachments for it.

To see the best loadout for the M4A1 in XDefiant, you can check out the guide below.

By default, the M4 starts out with great accuracy, mobility, and damage. However, if we want the gun to be the best in the AR class, we need to beef up its accuracy and mobility.

  • Barrel: Recon
  • Front Rail: Handstop
  • Optic: Reflex
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Quick Draw

The Handstop is the primary accuracy-boosting attachment I have on this loadout. Paired with the Recon barrel, players will be much more accurate and lethal at longer ranges. Then, there is the Reflex sight and Quick Mag, which gives players a clear optic, more bullets in each magazine, and a faster reload time. Finally, I have the Quick Draw Rear Grip, which improves overall mobility.
