There are several locations across the Settled Systems in Starfield where you can buy a new spaceship. Few thrills can match the feeling of buying a ship and seeing it on the landing dock for the first time. Chasing that feeling has led players across the galaxy to look for a new salesman who might have a fresh ship to sell them. If you have been in the market for a new ship, then you might have heard about Deimos Staryard in Starfield.
This location has become famous in the Settled Systems for selling some of the best overall ships that you can buy at any level. However, the name doesn’t offer any indication as to where it might be located in the galaxy. So, in this guide, I will explain exactly where you can find Deimos Staryard and how to buy a new ship once you’re there.
Getting to Deimos Staryard in Starfield
Luckily, Deimos Staryard is only a short jump from the starting point of Starfield. It’s located in the Sol system, which is the one most familiar to players since it consists of our solar system.
Specifically, Deimos Staryard is a floating space station right near Mars in Sol. You can find it by traveling to the Deimos moon around Mars. Once you’re there, you will be right in front of the floating space station, and you can dock at it to board the station. Once you visit Deimos Staryard one time, it will appear on your map as an official location.
Buying a ship at Deimos Staryard
Inside of Deimos Staryard, you can travel to the showroom and speak to the salesman in the middle of the floor to purchase a new ship. Depending on your current level and Piloting skill, you should be able to find some decent ships in the seller’s inventory. For example, I was able to buy the Dragonfire I, which is arguably one of the nicer-looking ships in all of Starfield.
