Today at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany Bandai Namco announced a new story mode for Soulcalibur VI that’s very reminiscent of Weapon Master from Soulcalibur II, the much-awaited return of character creator, and the first DLC character, Tira. Check out all the trailers below:
It appears that Tira will be available Day 1 for those that pre-order the season pass, according to Bandai Namco. To be honest I am a little disappointed that they are announcing DLC characters before the full base roster is revealed, especially when it is a fan-favorite character like Tira. Story mode looks promising and the return of character creation, while expected, is much appreciated. From the looks of it, you will have lots of options to make as many goofy characters as possible.
Soulcalibur VI releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on October 19, 2018, and you can find more information here.
