gta vi collection box

Rockstar’s $400 GTA 6 box comes with a gator, sunglasses and no game

Rockstar Games has revealed the first collector’s set for Grand Theft Auto VI. It costs $399.99, and it doesn’t include the game.

The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection arrives on November 19, launch day for GTA 6. Pre-orders are open now on the Rockstar Store, while supplies last.

Inside the box

The set is themed around Macca the Gator, a fictional TV show that’s a hit in Leonida, the game’s home state.

Here’s everything you get:

  • 6″ Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
  • Matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses
  • New Era 9FORTY snapback with Vice City details
  • Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
  • Vice City swizzle spoon
  • Vice City razor blade keychain
  • Leonida Keys crossbody bag
  • Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
  • Enamel pin set in a metal tin
  • Premium stickers in a stash bag
  • Double-sided poster of the full Leonida map

The box measures roughly 48 x 34 x 32 cm.

Who can order it

Right now, only players in North America and Europe can pre-order.

Rockstar says details for Asia, Latin America and Australia are coming soon. There’s no regional pricing or date yet.

Importing the game as well? Check which version you buy. It has been reported that GTA 6 will be region-locked on PS5, while Xbox players are unaffected.

The price problem

The debate is simple: $400, and no game.

In the UK, the box costs £349.99. In Europe, it sits at around €400.

Rockstar is upfront about it. The game is sold separately, and the box is meant as a companion to any version of GTA 6, physical or digital.

More merch on the way

Rockstar has also teased more GTA 6 apparel and collectibles for its store.

Stock is limited, so the box will likely sell out fast. Everyone outside North America and Europe will have to wait for Rockstar’s next update to get a chance.
