Ubisoft has launched a giveaway to celebrate the holidays with the an event they’re calling “12 Days of R6mas”. The official rules for the 12 Days of R6mas event can be found here. Available on Instagram and Twitter, players will be able to snag in-game cosmetic rewards in Rainbow Six: Siege by replying to social media posts between December 9 and 24.

12 Days of R6mas
On each business day during the giveaway, an exclusive limited-edition holiday Blackbeard Santa bundle and two random chibi figurines will be given out. In total, the promotion will take place over a 12 day period with 24 lucky winners. To enter, fans only need to reply to any Twitter or Instagram post with the #R6mas hashtag.
At the end of each day, Ubisoft will randomly select 1 winner from each of the social media platforms. Fans will have to follow the account or make sure their direct messages are open to receive the prize. Entrants can only enter 12 Days of R6mas once per day. They can also only win one prize over the entire event duration.
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the USA, Canada (including Quebec), Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, China, Japan, and Russia.
Rainbow Six Siege operation
This giveaway comes shortly after the release of Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Shifting Tides. New operators are playable with founder Kali and soldier Wamai of private company Nighthaven. Kali comes with an explosive lance as her unique gadget, while Wamai boasts a projectile attracting grenade that is refreshed over time.
Other updates include a Theme Park map rework, along with balancing changes to operators like Jackal, Kaid, Glaz, and Warden. Bug fixes have been deployed, skins added, cosmetics decreased in price, and two new mechanics released with the limb penetration system and rappel exit input requirement.
