A closer look at the PGRZ

GO1 and SonicFox have been clawing for the No. 1 spot throughout Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s lifespan. As a result, the two of them have claimed the top two spots on the PGRZ. Notably, this pair of rivals has proven very evenly-matched whenever they’ve played each other. As Andrew “PracticalTAS” Nestico pointed out, GO1 and SonicFox were even in sets (9-9) across FighterZ‘s entire history.

As a more traditional fighter, it is not surprising to see FGC legends scattered throughout Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s top 50. However, Leffen is a bit of an odd man out among members of the PGRZ. He is best known for his performances in platform fighters Super Smash Bros. Melee and Ultimate. Of course, other DBFZ players have found some success competing in Smash. Such players include dekillsage and ApologyMan. Still, it is interesting to see his name at #28.
