It’s the perfect week to host PAX Aus, as this convention brings together gaming, technology, and pop culture alike. Both PAX Aus and MIGW are set to be the biggest yet. According to Luke Lancaster, the Head of Content & Partnerships for PAX Aus, the team have been planning the 2022 convention for the last three years. He encourages fans to “strap in for everything you love about the show, as well as some brand new stuff we’ll no doubt tease you with over the coming months.”

How to get your badge

There are a variety of tickets, or badges, available and they nearly always sell out. Fans are known to sit online for hours, refreshing the website and waiting in virtual queues to obtain their passes.

This year, PAX Aus is doing something a little different. Ticket sales will be live at 12 noon AEDT on the ticketing website. The new platform for badge sales will be using a new virtual queue system to ensure the platform is stable for all buyers.

Badges on offer include single day badges for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These are available for $65 AUD at the early bird price. Three day passes are available for $170 AUD at the early bird price. There are usually two day badges (Friday & Saturday, or Saturday & Sunday) available as well. However, there is no word on the sale of two day badges for 2022 yet.

Three day passes are usually the first to sell out, so be quick!
