European esports organization OG has announced a partnership with gaming chair company Secretlab. As part of this sponsorship, Secretlab will provide the organization’s team and staff with its high-performance gaming chairs.
OG partners with Secretlab
“OG are esports’ biggest history makers—winning unprecedented back-to-back The International world championships as well as being the youngest esports team to achieve such massive success,” said Ian Alexander Ang, co-founder and CEO of Secretlab, in a release. “With our goal to make esports athletes better, we’re proud to support OG, elevate their performances with our award-winning chairs, and further help them create history.”
Secretlab and OG have collaborated on the creation of the Secretlab #DreamOG Edition gaming seat. This is a special edition gaming chair that features a navy blue base, along with white and silver accents, to represent OG’s emblem. In addition, two Aegis icons are embroidered on the right shoulder of the chair’s backrest to symbolize the organization’s back-to-back championships.
The newly created chair will incorporate the upgrades brought by Secretlab’s 2020 Series engineering. The added technology allows esports players to maintain peak performance “for over 18 hours each day,” while gaming with proper form and comfort.
Peak performance in Dota 2, CSGO
“Secretlab, as a gaming product leader, has always been at the forefront in helping gamers perform better,” said Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, CEO and Captain of OG. “This is most evident in how they’ve put their heart and soul into creating their high-performance gaming seats, so every gamer will be able to play at their best and fully enjoy their gaming experience.”
“This resonates deeply with us at OG, and that’s what makes Secretlab the perfect partner.”
Most well known for its repeated success in the Dota 2 scene, OG has kept the same core roster throughout past events. This is unique because most teams in the scene have reshuffled their lineups each year.
The organization also recently saw the addition of a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. It features top talent of Nathan Jordan “NBK-” Schmitt, Aleksi Antti Kaarlo “Aleksib” Virolainen, Valdemar Bjørn “valde” Vangså, Issa Sameer Issa “ISSAA” Murad, and Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski.
This partnership joins OG’s other sponsors, which include esports mobile app Socios, energy drink company Red Bull, and gaming peripherals brand SteelSeries.
