Last Epoch is an ARPG that had mostly gone under the radar after releasing in beta many years ago, but now the time is finally here for a full release.
The game is set to roll out its 1.0 update on Feb. 21 which will bring a ton of new additions and changes to the game, so if you’re a returning player you’ll want to get back into the action. Similarly, for new players, this is the perfect time to get started, but first, you’ll need to know when it’s going to launch.
When does Last Epoch release
Last Epoch will enter its full release with update 1.0 launching on Feb. 21, 2024, at 9 am PST. This means those in CST will get the game at 11 am, while players across the globe will get it at their corresponding time. It will be a global rollout.
Servers will be closed down for a full 24 hours before the launch so that means you won’t be able to play the Last Epoch beta from Feb. 20 at 9 am PST, and they will go back live once the game is ready to launch.
If you are desperate to play during this shutdown window you can boot the game in offline mode before it starts, and you will be able to continue playing, but there won’t be any way to authenticate with the servers while they are down. We’d suggest taking a break during this downtime in anticipation of the servers returning on launch day.
While we’re optimists here, we’d expect the new patch and rush of players joining the game could cause server issues and queues, so make sure to have some patience if you’re attempting to jump into the game from the moment it goes live.
If there are any changes to this planned release then this article will be updated so make sure to check back anytime you want to be in the loop.
