Simply hit the L button, and click the emote you want to use. It’s really that simple. However, this is by default. If “L” doesn’t work for you, you’ll have to check your keybinds.

Hit “Esc” on your keyboard and select “Options”, then click on “Keyboard & Mouse” and scroll down until you see “Ring Menu”, then check the key that’s assigned there. To change the key bind, click on the currently assigned key and then press the key you want to use to open your Ring Menu in future.

Open up your inventory screen, which is “I” by default. If that doesn’t work, check your keybinds for “Inventory” and change it to whatever you want. Once you’ve opened the inventory screen, click on “Customize” in the top menu, and click on “Emotes”, and you’ll be able to equip whatever emotes you want.

Just click on the emote you want to equip in the left inventory screen, and then assign it to a Ring Menu slot by clicking on the slot you want to replace.

And that’s all there is to it. While you’re here, why not learn where to get Phase Exchangers in The First Descendant, which are a core component in upgrading weapon levels.
