The first major quest players must complete in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet’s Teal Mask DLC is to take pictures with signs across Kitakami. To complete this task players must locate three signs throughout the area and take a selfie with them. Here’s where to find each sign and how to take photos with signs in the Teal Mask DLC.
How to Take Photos with Signs
The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC has added a selfie stick that makes it easier to take photos with your Pokémon. The Roto-Stick, along with other new photo options, brings subtle but much-appreciated changes to capturing memorable scenes in the game.
It’s unlocked automatically early in the DLC main quest. The new item allows you to take images from a new angle and from slightly further away. It also makes it easier to take photos with a released Pokémon in the Let’s Go! feature, or during a picnic.
Even with this new feature, taking photos with the three historic signs simply requires a press of the A button. The game will automatically trigger a dialogue sequence, which will conclude with a selfie of the player character being taken in front of the sign.
Where to Find The Three Signs in Kitakami
Sign 1: Loyalty Plaza
The first signboard is located at the Loyalty Plazaarea in Kitakami, west of Mossui Town. Follow the path out of town going to the west until you reach a “T” shape in the road. Take a right here where the sign says to enter the plaza area. Inside the plaza you will see the old signboard.
Sign 2: Kitakami Hall
The second signboard is located at the Kitakami Hall. This building is to the northeast of Mossui Town. Follow the path out of town to the east called “Reveler’s Road.” Follow the road all the way up until you reach the building on the mountain. Head to the left of the building to find the sign next to the gazebo.
Sign 3: Paradise Barrens
The third sign is located in Paradise Barrens, located in the northeast corner of Kitakami. To reach this area, use the path heading west from the Loyalty Plaza then go north through Wistful Fields. The sign will be directly in the middle of the area.
