The aliens that invaded the Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 map are apparently trying to make the island their home. Throughout the season, the extra-terrestrial beings have begun laying eggs in hatcheries across the map. Players have subsequently been tasked with helping the aliens through the weekly challenges. In Week 7, one of the Legendary Quests tasks players with stoking campfires near different hatcheries.
Obviously, this is to keep the eggs warm and move along the hatching process. It’s unclear what the eggs, or aliens that hatch from them, will do once they’re on the map. However, that’s not the player’s job in Week 7. Their only job is to ensure that the eggs are kept warm. To do that, players need to find two hatcheries on the Fortnite island.
Stoking campfires near different hatcheries in Fortnite
There are two campfires that players need to visit in order to complete this Week 7 challenge. Unfortunately for players, they are nowhere near one another. Therefore, this Legendary Quest might take two matches to fully complete.
Once players have found one campfire, they need to have at least 30 wood with them. This is for the actual stoking of the campfire, as players will be prompted to give that amount of wood when they approach the fire. This process needs to be repeated at the second campfire as well.

Both locations are near plenty of trees, so harvesting the necessary wood shouldn’t be an issue. Once players have the 30 wood, they must approach the campfire, stoke it and move onto the next one. After both are stoked, the challenge will be complete. Players will then be awarded 30,000 XP for their Season 7 Battle Pass.
