If you’re like me, the first time you played Infinite Craft was a long session. Truthfully, I sat for hours just dragging stuff across the screen. The only reason I stopped was because I got hungry after forgetting about dinner because I was too busy trying to make Batman and Family Guy.

Then came a moment of fright though—what happens if I close my tab? How do I save my progress? Thankfully, I took the risk so you don’t have to.

Do you need to save your progress in Infinite Craft?

No, you don’t need to save your progress in Infinite Craft. Thankfully, the site saves it for you, so even if you close the tab, all of your creations will be saved and there for you when you return.

There is one catch, however. The items only stay in the browser that you originally played on. For example, the first time I played was on my PC at home, but when I tried to play on my laptop, all my progress was gone, and I had to start from scratch. This happened even though I was signed in on Chrome on both devices, so I’d suggest putting the most time in on the machine you play on most.

It also won’t save anything that you leave sitting on the board, only the items in the bar on the right-hand side. This shouldn’t be a big deal, but it’s worth remembering. Just make sure you don’t press the “Reset” button, as that will wipe all your progress, and send you back to just the four starter elements.
