When you finish your first round of quests on the planet Koboh in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you will be treated to more of the Pyloon Saloon. The second and third floors of the saloon will open up to you, giving you access to Zee’s Shop, more NPCs, and the rooftop garden. The rooftop garden is perfect for players who have acquired a plethora of seeds and need to plant them somewhere.
However, at first, you will only have access to one plot of soil in the garden. In order to expand your garden, you need to recruit a Gardener, which is more difficult than it sounds in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
A Gardener is an NPC that you have to physically speak to in order for them to come to Pyloon’s Saloon. There are other similar quests where you have a similar goal, such as trying to recruit a fisherman to take care of the saloon’s fish tank. However, the Gardener is somewhere that seemingly can’t be found anywhere, unless you know where and when to look.
Recruiting a Gardener in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The Gardener you are looking for is not on the planet Koboh. Instead, you have to wait several hours before getting to fully explore Jedha. Your first trip to Jedha will only get you so far, so you need to wait until your second trip before you are able to recruit the Gardener.
Speaking of, the Gardener is an NPC named Pili Walde, and they are found when going to the Pilgrim’s Safehouse on Jedha. Pili is located inside a small cave that you have to pass if you are following the main quest route. Simply interact with Pili, and Cal will tell them that their gardening efforts could be better spent on Koboh at the saloon. Pili will oblige, and the next time you visit the rooftop garden on Koboh, Pili will be there.
