The last weapon you can unlock in the Technology menu of Palworld is the Rocket Launcher at level 48. This is arguably the best overall weapon in the game, as it can deal a ton of damage to any Pal. However, if you want the best version of the Rocket Launcher, you need the Legendary Rocket Launcher 4 Schematic.

This is the ultimate version of the Rocket Launcher, featuring the most damage and best stats. Of course, getting your hands on one of, if not the best schematic in Palworld will take some serious grinding. Getting the Legendary Rocket Launcher 4 Schematic in Palworld

Unfortunately, there’s only one way to go about acquiring this legendary schematic, and it’s through defeating an Alpha Pal. Not just any Alpha Pal, though, but arguably the toughest one in the entire game.

The only Alpha Pal that drops the Legendary Rocket Launcher 4 Schematic in Palworld is Jetragon. Alpha Jetragon is level 50 and boasts over 10,000 HP, some incredible attacks, and blazing speeds that make it difficult to hit, let alone kill or capture. To make matters worse, there’s a very small chance Alpha Jetragon drops the Legendary Rocket Launcher 4 Schematic when you kill or capture it, meaning you might have to retry to fight over and over again before you’re able to loot it.

You can find Alpha Jetragon on the far western side of the map in the volcano region. You’ll have to bring some form of heat resistant armor and fast travel to either the Ruined Fortress or Beach of Everlasting Summer waypoints to reach the Alpha.

Jetragon is a pure Dragon-type, so Ice-type attacks are super-effective against it while Dark-type stands little to no chance. You’ll also have to use Legendary Spheres to capture Jetragon, as Ultra Spheres only have a capture rate of around 5%. Even Legendary Spheres only have a capture rate of around 25% when you get Jetragon to below 500 HP.

After you defeat Alpha Jetragon, check your inventory for the Legendary Rocket Launcher 4 Schematic. If you didn’t get it, you’ll have to wait one hour for Alpha Jetragon to respawn so you can try your luck again.
