How to get the Blood Drinker glyph in Diablo 4

A Necromancer's best friend

Every class has specific glyphs that make their Paragon Board really pop in Diablo 4. Whether it’s because of an added bonus or the way that it interacts with the rest of your board, specific glyphs are key for your build after passing level 50. For the Necromancer class in Diablo 4, there is perhaps no more useful early glyph than the Blood Drinker glyph.

The Blood Drinker glyph has the following bonus and additional bonus: “Grants +50.0% bonus to all Magic nodes within range,” and “Blood Orbs Fortify you for 7% of your Maximum Life.” Your magic nodes getting a huge boost and gaining Fortify for using the Blood Orbs skill is incredibly useful in Diablo 4. However, the glyph has a requirement of 40 intelligence on your Paragon Board, so make sure you have those stats before trying to equip it.

If you’re a Necromancer and have been craving a glyph of this nature, then you can read my guide below on acquiring the Blood Drinker glyph.

Getting the Blood Drinker glyph in Diablo 4

Like all other glyphs in Diablo 4, you will have to get a little lucky when trying to loot the Blood Drinker glyph. There is no guaranteed way to obtain this specific glyph, but there are two ways to ensure that you receive a glyph of some kind.

The first way is to run and complete Nightmare Dungeons. Each Nightmare Dungeon should yield at least a few glyphs from defeating enemies and opening chests. You can also upgrade any glyph upon defeating the final boss/objective of a Nightmare Dungeon.

The second way to get glyphs is to complete Tree of Whisper quests by earning 10 Grim Favors. Once you have 10 Grim Favors, you can exchange them for caches at the Tree of Whispers. All of these caches will contain at least a random glyph or two. You will simply have to wait and get lucky to find the Blood Drinker glyph and add it to your Paragon Board in Diablo 4.
