If you want an easy way to get around your LEGO Fortnite world, then look no further than the Launch Pad.

Fortnite’s v28.10 update brought a host of changes and new items to its three game modes, including LEGO Fortnite. One of those is the new Launch Pad item, and here’s how you can craft one for yourself.

LEGO Fortnite’s sandbox nature means almost anything is possible, and the only limit is your imagination. If you want to see your little LEGO character soaring into the skies, then look no further than the Launch Pad.

How to build Launch Pads in LEGO Fortnite

To build a Launch Pad, you will need to go to the “Toys” section of your Build menu and select it at the bottom. To build it, you will need eight Flexwood, four Copper Bars, and one Silk Fabric.

Your Village will also need to be Level 7, so make sure you’re upgrading your Village otherwise, you won’t be able to partake in some flying fun.

If you have the required ingredients, you will then be able to build it and place it down in a position of your choice.

How to fix Launch Pads not appearing in LEGO Fortnite Build menu

Unfortunately, some players are reporting that Launch Pads are not appearing in their Build menus when they open LEGO Fortnite for the first time after the update.

If that’s happening to you, simply collect the eight Flexwood, four Copper Bars, and one Silk Fabric required to build it, and make sure they are in your inventory. Check the Toys section again, and it should appear.

How to use a Launch Pad in LEGO Fortnite

Thankfully, using a Launch Pad in LEGO Fortnite is super simple: Just run over and jump on it. It’ll then shoot you into the sky, and you can glide wherever you need to go.

They work exactly like Launch Pads in regular Fortnite, so don’t worry about having to do anything differently.

Best use for Launch Pads in LEGO Fortnite

The best use for Launch Pads in LEGO Fortnite is for travel. Set one up at a high point, like a tower or on top of a mountain, and use it to glide around the map.

I intended to set these up across my world, in places like the desert or far away caves I regularly travel to, creating easy ways to get back and forward without having to run.
