How to earn Parkour and Combat Points in Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Rank up those Skills by completing specific tasks in Villedor

The foundation of the Skills system in Dying Light 2 Stay Human are Parkour and Combat Points. Earning these points ranks up your Parkour and Combat level as well as your overall character level. Earning more points lets you unlock a new Skill in either Parkour or Combat. However, these points are given out sparingly in Dying Light 2, meaning you will need to know every way you that can earn more of them.

Luckily, there are multiple ways to earn Parkour and Combat Points in this sequel from developer Techland. From completing quests to doing specific tasks around Villedor, you won’t be scavenging for Skills as long as you’re diligent about which activities you partake in.

Below, you can see every available way to earn Parkour and Combat Points in Dying Light 2.

Earning Combat Points in Dying Light 2

The first Skill is Combat, which is a bit more difficult to rank up than Parkour. Combat Points mainly come from fighting enemies, as each hit you deal to an enemy will yield a small number of points. Finishing off an enemy will yield more points, as you can see in the top right of the screen during a fight.

You can also earn points by doing the following:

  • Completing quests
  • Partaking in Combat Challenges located across the map
  • Fighting enemies at nighttime

The next Skill is Parkour, which has more opportunities to earn points than Combat. Just as with Combat, you can earn passive Parkour Points by jumping, mantling, climbing and wall-running across the map. All of these actions will yield small amounts of Parkour Points.

You can also earn a larger number of points by:

  • Completing quests
  • Partaking in Parkour Challenges located across the map
  • Parkouring at nighttime
  • Activating Windmills
  • Securing Nightrunner Hideouts

Almost every action you take throughout Dying Light 2 will yield some kind of Skill Points in either Parkour or Combat. The biggest hurdle for players will be finding out ways to maximize these points so you can quickly learn more Skills. Just remember to take on any quest or activity, fight and parkour your way through Villedor and discover new places on the map to earn the most points possible.
