Don't let the red mist ruin your time

From your first steps in Redfall to right before the end credits, you will be dealing with the deadly red mist that encompasses large areas on the map. For those that have attempted to cross the mist, you know that you take damage over time the longer you stay in it.

Eventually, this will kill you, which can be quite problematic for players who need to cross an area that is surrounded by the mist. Alternatively, some Safehouses in Redfall can’t be activated until you clear the mist that surrounds the generator.

Essentially, players need to figure out a way to clear the red mist. This makes any player’s life much easier in Redfall, as they no longer have to worry about finding a way around it or dying from it after an enemy has pushed them inside the mist. To find out exactly how to clear the red mist in Redfall, follow what we did.

Clearing the Red Mist in Redfall

There are two main options when you want to clear some red mist in Redfall, although they both involve the same object. The first option is to use your Portable UV Beam, which is a weapon that you can encounter in Redfall. This emits a powerful beam of UV light that you can aim at the central statue in the middle of the red mist.

When done, you will hear a scream and the statue crumble to the ground. This, in turn, will dissipate all of the red mist around the statue.

Alternatively, you can also find a UV light that is near the red mist and turn it on. There are usually one or two UV lights near any red mist, so all you need to do is find them, turn one on, and then watch the same thing happen to the statue and the red mist.
