How to breed Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld

If you’ve explored a majority of the map in Palworld, you’ve likely seen the large Alpha Jormuntides roaming around the water in two different locations. While Jormuntide itself is an intimidating Pal, the Ignis version of it is perhaps stronger in Palworld.

Jormuntide Ignis is a dual Fire and Dragon-type rather than a Water/Dragon-type. It features similar skills and stats to its aquatic counterpart, but the Fire-typing is the best element in Palworld due to it being super-effective against two elements instead of one. As such, you’re likely curious about how to add Jormuntide Ignis to your party. Your first inclination might to be breed Jormuntide Ignis, which you can see how to do in the guide below.

Breeding Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld

Unfortunately, there’s only one breeding combination for Jormuntide Ignis in Palworld, and it doesn’t involve other Pals.

To breed Jormuntide Ignis, you need two other Jormuntide Ignis as parents. This means you need to already two of the Pal before you’re able to breed it using the Breeding Station. Moreover, those parents still need to be male and female.

Obviously, the only reasons you would want to breed a new Jormuntide Ignis is if you’re looking to min-max its stats and skills or get more to use in the Pal Condenser. Either way, you’ll already have to have at least two Jormuntide Ignis in your Palbox before you’re able to breed a new one.

The best way to go about getting Jormuntide Ignis is by hatching it through an egg. Jormuntide Ignis are found in Huge Dragon Eggs in Palworld, and you can see the best locations to find those eggs in my previous guide. Your most likely chance of finding a Huge Dragon Egg that hatches Jormuntide Ignis is by visiting the volcano region to the west on the map. Here, the Dragon Eggs you pick up have a more likely chance to contain a Fire-type due to their proximity to heat at the volcano.

It wasn’t the answer you were probably looking for, but you’ll have to find a male and a female Jormuntide Ignis before you’re able to breed a new one in Palworld. Once you do, you can throw both of those Pals in the Breeding Station with some Cake and after some time, a Huge Dragon Egg will spawn that contains Jormuntide Ignis.
