The highly-anticipated update has been extremely controversial so far, with some players loving the new content but others being disappointed over the lack of necessary fixes that both games needed. Regardless of where you stand, the new content in Modern Warfare 2 specifically is a nice sight to see. The highlight of the content drop is the Atomgrad Raid, which is the first of its kind in Modern Warfare 2.

This is the first Raid ever seen in Call of Duty, and the Atomgrad Raid continues the story set forth in the MW2 Campaign. There will be five Raids in total, with one likely dropping every season. The first Raid has surprised fans thus far, featuring a nice change of pace from the standard gameplay loop of multiplayer.

According to developer Infinity Ward, the Atomgrad Raid will take players two hours, give or take, to fully complete on their first run-through. This likely averages the times that players will experience depending on what difficulty they decide to play on. Players who run through the Raid on Veteran Mode will obviously spend more time in Atomgrad while those who take on the average difficulty will spend less time.

However, if players try to speed run the Raid, we’ve seen reports of players finishing it in under an hour. It all depends on how much you want to explore the areas the Raid will take you through.

The developers have encouraged players to do the Atomgrad Raid multiple times, though. Your journey will be different each time due to the paths being randomized every time you start a new playthrough. Doing the Raid more than once will allow you to see everything and uncover all of the secrets Atomgrad has to offer.
