The FR 5.56 needs help in a couple of different areas if you want to make it truly effective against zombies. It primarily needs some buffs in the damage range and mobility departments, which are arguably the two most crucial stats for a weapon in the undead mode. My loadout for the FR 5.56 addresses both of these concerns as well as boosts other stats.

The loadout begins with the 600mm Longbore barrel, which massively boosts damage range and bullet velocity on the FR 5.56. Then, SL Razorhawk Laser improves aim down sights speed, sprint-to-fire time, and tactical stance spread. I have also equipped the Recon Stock Pad to increase recoil control as well as overall movement speed. The final two attachments are the MK. 3 Reflector, due to the FR 5.56 having poor iron sights, and the 60 Round Mag. If you Pack-A-Punch the FR 5.56, those 60 bullets are doubled to 120.
