Fortnite fans have wanted Spider-Man and company in the colorful battle royale for years and now they’ve probably gotten more than they bargained for. Spider-Man is one of this season’s battle pass rewards and several others skins, including Green Goblin, are coming to the game’s item shop soon.
The new addition to Fortnite came on the back of several leaks that showcased the Green Goblin’s classic comic book design within Fortnite. While Tom Holland’s Spider-man and Zendaya’s Mary Jane Watson both came to the item shop earlier this season, this design is not based off Willem Dafoe’s character from Spider-Man: No Way Home.
When will Green Goblin come to Fortnite?
Multiple leakers confirmed that Green Goblin would come to Fortnite once the Hawkeye and Kate Bishop crossover skins leave the shop sometime within the next two weeks. The skin will most likely include a glider, pickaxe and back bling. We have no confirmation on price, but it will most likely fall in line with the 1,500 – 2,500 V-Buck range. Hopefully, other Spider-Man characters and villains will come afterward.

Fortnite Chapter 3 has introduced all sorts of new content since it launched in 2021. New physics mechanics, like falling trees, have invaded the metagame. A giant dinosaur named Klombo, Spider-Man web shooter items and even Sharknado have helped the battle royale’s new chapter stand out compared to previous seasons. There is plenty more to come, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s own skin. The superstar is playing a character named The Foundation and will be available to unlock in less than two weeks.
Spider-Man has been at the core of Chapter 3’s first season. The web shooters, which are allowed in competitive play, let players zip around the map quickly. The season also includes the Daily Bugle, the newspaper Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man worked for, as a named location on the map. Venom and Carnage already appeared in previous seasons, but now players can form a full squad with Spider-Man and some of his toughest foes.
