Melbourne Esports Open announced some additions to their Fortnite tournaments. The Melbourne Esports Open will take place next weekend at Melbourne Park. Earlier this week, TEG Live and ESL released their plans to have a dedicated Fortnite arena at the open. Now more details have been revealed.

Practice those Fortnite moves

Whilst fans already knew Fortnite would be available to play in a freestyle tournament, not many would have guessed a dance-off. We’re not sure of the exact details, but players will most likely have the chance to show off their favourite dance emotes. With dozens of emotes to choose from and a range of genres, the judges for the competition will have their work cut out for them. Fortnite currently has over a hundred different types of dances.

Alongside these dances, there will be competitions running on stage for players to win prizes. Attendees will also have the chance to play with some of their favourite content creators. We now also know the free-to-play Fortnite area will be played on PS4.
