The North American esports organization FlyQuest recently unveiled their first line of apparel, specifically geared towards women. FlyQuest partnered on the project with the Women for Women International organization. Subsequently, they will be dedicating half of the income from women’s merch sales to the organization. Women’s Flightwear, as they named the merch line, will begin selling through their online store on May 24. However, you can already preview them now.
In a press release, FlyQuest COO Tricia Sugita stated that they are very excited to launch the clothing line. In partnership with Women for Women International, FlyQuest declared they will support 5 women in a yearlong training. The training will teach them different skills and help raise awareness about their rights. Furthermore, she added being a platform to help others is exactly what they as an organization strive to be. According to the COO, the intent of the apparel line is to give women in esports more choice when it comes to clothing. Sugita concludes her statement by saying what an honor it is to work with the organization.
Women’s Flightwear features different clothing pieces from sports bras, leggings, and baseball tees to even crop tops. The specialty is these pieces are specifically meant for women, unlike most other esports clothing lines.
FlyQuest is a North American esports organization first established in 2017. They currently own teams in Fortnite and League of Legends, even serving as a permanent LCS partner in the latter. The company is partially owned by Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, whose investment heavily increased their LCS partnership chances.
