Black Friday is here, which means savings and deals are everywhere, including FIFA 21. In the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), there’s plenty to be excited about. There are some great new cards along with some powerful returning cards in packs.
Here’s more about the Black Friday event, and how you can make the most out of it.
New and returning cards
The big reveal for Black Friday is FIFA 21‘s Record Breakers cards. These cards feature footballers who have broken real-life records in the sport. The headliner for this set is none other than Kylian Mbappe, who gets his first upgrade in FUT for the year.

In addition to Mbappe, David Silva, Jadon Sancho, Radamel Falcao, and Oscar are getting upgrades here. While Mbappe is easily the best card in the set, the others should go for good prices on the market or make decent additions to certain squads as well.
Along with the Record Breakers set, EA is bringing back top Team of the Week cards for a limited time. Some of the best team of the week cards like Lionel Messi, Marcus Rashford, and N’Golo Kante are all available in packs.
You can find these cards in standard gold packs, or special promo packs available for short periods throughout the day.
Objectives and Squad Building Challenges
Throughout Black Friday, there will be “flash SBCs” that will last for roughly two hours and offer various rewards. These Squad Building Challenges aren’t overly difficult and offer great rewards for what they are.
The event objective is called Black Friday and gets you draft tokens and packs simply for winning games. Winning five games will get you a Draft Token Pack, winning 10 will get you a Premium Gold Players Pack, and winning 15 and 25 will get you a Mega Pack, along with a Premium Gold Players pack for completing the objective.
