The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 Europe, Middle East and Africa Last Chance Qualifiers is on its way, which will decide the final EMEA team at Champions in 2022. Eight teams will fight in this upcoming tournament to see who makes it to the final tournament of the 2022 season. The two EMEA teams already going to Champions include Fnatic and Stage 2 Masters champions FunPlus Phoenix.

The teams competing at the VCT 2022 EMEA LCQ

All the teams competing in the EMEA LCQ are in descending order from their seeding.

  • G2 Esports
  • Guild Esports
  • Team Liquid
  • M3 Champions
  • Acend
  • BBL Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • OG LDN UTD

In the EMEA region, we have some big names fighting in the LCQ. Both M3 Champions and Acend were key names in 2021, but both failed to perform up to their previous form in 2022. Team Liquid are in a similar boat, after finishing in the 3rd-4th position in Champions last year coming through last year’s LCQ. As for other teams such as G2 Esports and Guild Esports, they’ve had good runs throughout the year but need another if they want to go to Istanbul.

The brackets at the VCT 2022 EMEA LCQ

Just like previous LCQs, the tournament remains a double-elimination one. Also similar to the NA LCQ this year, the teams’ seeding within the region determines who they face at the beginning of the tournament. Due to that, the first matchup is the third-seeded G2 Esports versus the tenth-seeded OG LDN UTD. Then, the recent Stage 2 Masters team Guild Esports face Natus Vincere. After that, we have the staple 2021 Champions rematch in M3 Champions versus Acend, but with both teams fighting just to return to the final tournament of the season. So that leaves Team Liquid against BBL Esports to round off the first matchups in the LCQ.

The VCT 2022 EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers stretches from Aug. 8-14. While the dates are around the same time as the NA LCQ, Riot Games have yet to announce the official times for the matches. When those are revealed, this post will be updated with them.

What is confirmed is that the event will be streamed online on both the VALORANT YouTube and Twitch channels alongside the other LCQs.
