After seven weeks of speculation, Deadpool finally has an official arrival time in Fortnite. Announced earlier today on Twitter, the market anti-hero himself revealed that his limited-time event will arrive tomorrow, April 3. As was rumored, he will take over The Yacht POI with “music, tacos, and a whole lotta Deadpool”. It’s also suspected that he will redesign the Battle Bus and Item Shop during the time his event is live. That said, the event is the only thing that will begin tomorrow, as Deadpool’s Week 7 challenges also become available.
Deadpool taking over Fortnite
The exact details of this event will have to wait until tomorrow. We’re not sure what will be on The Yacht besides Deadpool-themed items and maybe some hidden easter eggs. It’s also unknown if anything else will change on the Fortnite map because of this event.
We do know, however, that the Week 7 challenges for the anti-hero go live tomorrow. These challenges won’t require you to do anything special like in previous weeks. If you manage to complete them, though, you’ll receive a variant of the Deadpool skin. Here are the leaked challenges:
- Find Deadpool’s 2 pistols (0/2)
- Enter a Phone Booth or Portapotty to become the Super-est of Superheroes (0/1)
Completing either of these two challenges will yield you the first variant of the Deadpool skin. This is the masked version of the outfit, with the unmasked version releasing next week. The Week 7 challenges aren’t anything difficult, as you can find the pistols somewhere in the Battle Pass menu. A Phone Booth or Portapotty are also found plentifully scattered around the Fortnite island.
The event should be live around 10:00 a.m. ET tomorrow, April 3. We’ll be sure to let you know any more details about the event here at Daily Esports!
