Cyberpunk 2077: Should you make a deal with Georgina Zembinsky?

Stuck between a rock and a hard place

In the Heaviest of Hearts Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, you need to help a father try and get his son out of some trouble with the DA of Night City, Georgina Zembinsky. The DA has some incriminating evidence against the son and it’s your job to convince her to stop pursuing the case.

However, when you eventually find Georgina Zembinsky in a VIP Room of a club, you will quickly see that the DA has more than just evidence. She convinced the son’s father, the same father you’re helping out, to go on video and incriminate his son. After learning this, Zembinsky offers you a deal. In exchange for not causing more problems, she will agree to make the incriminating video anonymous, meaning the father won’t be officially involved. Although, you can also choose to confront Zembinsky further and make her delete the father’s testimony altogether.

In this guide, I will explain what happens if you make a deal with Georgina Zembinsky and if you turn her down.

If you decide to say “Fine. We have a deal,” after seeing Zembinsky’s video, then you can peacefully leave the club and return to the father. You tell him that his testimony has been made anonymous, which he obviously won’t like, as you were supposed to delete the testimony entirely.

After some back and forth, you leave the father and Mr. Hands will call. He won’t be too happy with you, as you didn’t completely satisfy the client’s wishes. In exchange for that, you only receive $4,000 eddies for your work. Zembinsky will actually follow through and make the testimony anonymous, though.

On the other side of the situation, you can choose to say “I don’t believe you. Delete the testimony,” to Zembinsky after seeing the video. In this scenario, Zembinsky’s bodyguard, Hank, will attack you, forcing you to kill him. Once he’s dead, Zembinsky will agree to delete the testimony entirely, allowing you to return to the father with good news.

After telling the father about the testimony, Mr. Hands will call you. He is pleased with your work and rewards you with $8,000 eddies for your work.

Which choice should you make?

After playing through both endings, there’s really no reason to make a deal with Zembinsky. Refusing her deal rewards you with more eddies and a happier client. While it involves more fighting, Hank is not a tough opponent, so there’s not much risk associated with the decision.
