Best 5 Strand weapons in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Some of the best new weapons from the new expansion

With the strength of the new subclass in Destiny 2 Lightfall, here are five of the best Strand weapons currently available. There are only a few Strand exotics so far, so a lot of these weapons aren’t too hard to pick up or hunt for on Neomuna.

To start the list in descending order, we have a great addition to PvP players.

5. Round Robin

As the key Strand hand cannon from Lightfall, the Round Robin is already making waves in PvP as the go-to hand cannon for Strand users. It has a very high damage output, especially when comboed with the Strand subclass, seasonal perks and other hand-cannon mods.

The only downside to the Round Robin is that it fits the PvP side more than the PvE side, unless you focus your build around it.

4. Perpetualis

When it comes to the best Strand auto rifles available from Destiny 2 Lightfall, Perpetualis comes a close second. Everyone knows about the Quicksilver Storm exotic Strand auto rifle, but its exclusivity to pre-orders makes it too unique. Perpetualis is the more common legendary weapon, farmable through seasonal activities with plenty of strong perks.

Much like the Volta Bracket, its a great gun for its fire rate and combos well with other Strand abilities that the subclass and seasonal bonuses give.

3. Circular Logic

As the second of two heavy Strand weapons, the Circular Logic is the better of the two. Not only can it pump out great damage, but one of the perks it offers is very strong in both PvP and PvE. The Hatchling perk allows the gun to spawn Threadlings off of precision final blows or rapid kills.

So not only is it a powerful machine gun, but it also can rip through crowds and summon Threadlings to clear through them faster.

2. Final Warning

Out of the best exotic Strand weapons, the Final Warning takes some grinding to get but is one of the go-to guns of the latest Destiny 2 expansion. To get this gun, players need to unlock all the Strand options for a specific class, which takes a lot of Strand Meditations to unlock. However, after you complete that exotic quest, you have a Strand sidearm that can build tracking rounds.

On top of it being a primary weapon with infinite ammo, the Final Warning is by far the strongest Strand weapon that isn’t locked behind a pre-order.

1. Quicksilver Storm

Alas, that brings us to the best Strand gun so far from the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion: the Quicksilver Storm. This Strand weapon has infinite ammo as a primary weapon, tracking rockets after landing multiple shots and a grenade launcher. Not much needs to be said, as stacking those multiple forms of damage both on single targets and on groups can lead to a lot of Strand damage.

However, if you don’t have access to it, you’ll probably just see others using it both in the Crucible or in Nightfalls.
