All Shadowy Skirmishes Special Research Tasks in Pokemon GO

Another Team Go Rocket Takeover comes to Pokémon GO with new missions and content apart of the Shadowy Skirmishes Special Research. Players can complete this Special Research even after the Rocket Takeover concludes, earning various Team GO Rocket-themed rewards and, most importantly, a chance to capture Giovanni’s Shadow Registeel.

To complete this Special Research, players will have to defeat GO Rocket Grunts and Leaders, while also catching and purifying captured Shadow Pokemon. The Research missions culminate in a final battle with the boss, Giovanni.

Giovanni wields a new Shadow Pokémon, Shadow Registeel, and can be challenged after obtaining a Super Rocket Radar from defeating all of the Team Go Rocket Leaders. In order for you to take on Team GO Rocket to claim your own Shadow Registeel, here’s the rundown on all the Shadowy Skirmishes Special Research tasks and rewards.

• Make three “Nice” Curveball Throws in a row
