Whiplash Octane skin released free for Apex Legends with Twitch Prime

With a Twitch Prime partnership, users of the streaming platform can also redeem free access to games, loot in the games themselves, and some non-gaming related items as well. Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have continuously held a partnership with Twitch Prime through various skins. After previous releases like Bangalore’s Dino Dynamo skin, Wattson’s Sweet Dreams skin, and L-Star’s Stellar Stallion skin, Respawn has released another — the Whiplash Octane skin.

Twitch Prime skin

The Whiplash Octane skin features Octane in a red and black outfit with a gold outline and design. The skin also features golden goggles and Japanese characters along the middle of his helmet.

Apex Legends fans who also have a Twitch Prime subscription can redeem the Whiplash Octane skin by connecting their Origin account with Twitch’s loot page. This offer only exists until Sept. 30 as well. Other current Twitch Prime offers include a Customization Bundle for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Ultimate Team Pack #2 for FIFA19, Exclusive Ash Operator Set for Rainbow Six Siege, Free Master Penthouse for GTA Online, and more.

Apex Legends

With Apex Legends Season 2, the Iron Crown update has brought many requested updates to the game. Most notably the solo mode was added. Other updates include a new part of the map next to the Thunderdome named Town Takeover. New skins have also been added to all of the heroes along with a new event store.

On the Apex Legends Twitch Prime page, one more exclusive skin has yet to be released. The text shows that it will be a skin for both Mirage and a weapon.
