As any experienced Fortnite player knows, the dawn of a new week means fresh challenges. The Week 3 tasks are already known and players can begin them on Thursday, June 24. However, in Season 7, there’s a new feature to look forward to in each passing week, and it’s the Alien Artifacts.
Alien Artifacts are a new collectible in Fortnite Season 7. Their only use is in upgrading the Kymera skin that’s featured on the Battle Pass. Players can collect Alien Artifacts on the map, or in Cosmic Chests. Once they have enough, they can then unlock different styles for Kymera.
Epic Games has made it so that new artifacts appear on the map every week. This means that players need to chase down newly placed artifacts each week if they want the most possible options when upgrading Kymera. So the big question is, “Where are the Alien Artifacts in Week 3?”
The Week 3 Alien Artifacts in Fortnite
There are four artifacts on the map in Week 3 but there’s a total of 16 up for grabs. Each artifact that the player finds is actually worth four, bringing the total to 16. However, players can maximize this number by opening Cosmic Chests, which give an additional number of artifacts every week.
The locations for the new Alein Artifacts in Week 3 are shown on the map below.

The four Alien Artifacts in Week 3 are found at the following POIs:
- Craggy Cliffs
- Boney Blurbs
- Slurpy Swamp
- Coral Castle
When players encounter an artifact, they must walk up to it and hold the prompted interact button. The artifact will then be added to the inventory. Whenever an artifact is collected, it will appear in the Kymera upgrade menu. From there, players can spend their artifacts on upgrades if they have the required amount.
The Week 3 Alien Artifacts are set to go live on Thursday, June 24.
