Two new Exotic weapons have been added to Fortnite in today’s update. Players can find both the Burst Quad Launcher and Chug Cannon by speaking to various NPCs scattered around the battle royale’s map.
There is only one Exotic weapon in every match, so only one player will be able to use it. Like the other exotic weapons this season, the Burst Quad Launcher and Chug Cannon need to be purchased from NPCs with gold bars. There are over 40 NPCs that spawn throught out the map, some with multiple locations. You may not find a given NPC if they spawn in a different location.
Finding the Burst Quad Launcher and Chug Cannon
The Burst Quad Launcher, which fires multiple rockets in rapid succession, is found through Fishstick, who is located at Coral Castle or in the main restaurant building of Craggy Cliffs. You need 600 Gold Bars to purchase the launcher. Fishstick can be found walking around behind the cash register inside the building. You’ll see a dialogue box pop up on the mini-map if he has spawned at this location.

The Chug Cannon is purchased through Remedy, who is found at the house on the hill northeast of Pleasant Park or in a shack in the upper corner of Craggy Cliffs. You’ll need to drop 600 Gold Bars to purchase the Chug Cannon from her. Once either of these weapons is purchased no one else will be able to buy them. Other players will have to eliminate you and take the weapons for themselves
Both Exotics are quite useful; the Burst Quad Launcher is terrific at destroying enemy builds and each shot of the Chug Cannon heals your teammates and yourself for 18 health. You can view the full stats of the weapons down below, courtesy of @HYPEX.

The third weapon in HYPEX’s tweet, the Frozen SMG, doesn’t seem to be live in Fortnite yet. Perhaps the v15.40 update will see that Exotic’s arrival but we don’t have a timetable for that right now.
After weeks without adding much in-game content, the Fortnite developers delivered two weapons to the Season 5 pool. The Mandalorian-inspired season has most likely been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which could account for the large gaps in content. However, with at least a month to go before Season 6, players have a couple of new toys to play with in Season 5.
Stay tuned to Daily Esports for information about all the new content coming to Fortnite this season.
