Where is the Mystical Crate at the Junkyard in Once Human?

The Junkyard has a really tough elite enemy, and you likely had no trouble finding him — but I will tell you where, just in case. We’ll also check where the Mystical crate is at the Junkyard, and where to find ammo and gear crates.

There’s even a bonus quest, which gets super weird, but it’s easy enough.

Where is the Mystical Crate at the Junkyard?

It’s near the western entrance into the Junkyard, inside of a train carriage (the coal-carrier type). To get to it, simply enter the building and climb into the train carriage and you’ll be able to get it. The soldiers inside don’t even attack you… well, they didn’t attack me.

It’s quite funny, I started here, did a loop of the whole junkyard, and then came back here only to find the crate was here all along. Anyway, what about the rest of the Junkyard?

How to complete The Carnival of Doom with Chuckles the clown

Near the carriage with the Mystical Chest, you’ll find a gear crate and a glowing spot by a group of soldiers that don’t seem interested in attacking you. This glowing spot, called The Carnival of Doom, starts a mini-quest.

Touching it transports you somewhere else, and you’ll get to meet Chuckles the clown, who seems to have a real liking for Russian Roulette. You get to play against him, and lose. Twice.

After losing to Chuckles twice, explore the room. You’ll find that behind one of the windows is another clown.

Go back to Chuckles and ask him for some fresh air. He’ll let you out through a giant door. Go to the clown and mash V (default) to beat him up with your melee weapon, then interact with the console, which is labeled “Cheating Device”.

After this, go back to Chuckles and the rest is pretty much easy. After that, it’s time for a really tough fight, if you want to complete the Junkyard exploration.

(It used to be a tough fight. If you’re running a decent build in Season 2, you’ll have a pretty easy time of it.)

Elite Enemies and Weapons and Armor Crates at the Junkyard in Once Human

Here everything becomes very straight forward. Exit the train yard and head South where you’ll find a road and two facilities. One on your right, and one on your left.

Explore both to find two more gear crates and a weapons crate (they’re easy to find). The hard part is the enemy you’ll encounter in the facility on your right (Rosetta Mechanic). Be prepared for this fight. Bring enough ammo and activators.

It’s not hard to beat him, but he moves a lot and is quite accurate. Just keep seeking cover and shooting back when he reloads to drop him fairly quickly.

The other facility contains the last elite enemy, which is a Rosetta Bruiser. They’re not hard to beat at all. How I do it is by just aiming at his gun arm with an Assault rifle. This seems to take them down pretty quickly.

And that’s it. Explore both facilities to get two more gear crates and a weapon crate, and go activate the Rift Anchor, and you’re all done with the Junkyard.
