When does Fortnite Festival season 2 begin?

More music, more fun.

Fortnite Festival’s launch might have been overshadowed by LEGO Fortnite, but the mode has continued to cement itself with a dedicated player base and a huge catalog of rotating songs to enjoy. All of that is expected to be taken to a new level with Season 2.

Just like Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival will follow the seasonal release formula with big changes being rolled out between seasons rather than in the middle. While right now there aren’t any details about what these changes could be, a release date for the new season has begun circulating online.

While details around Fortnite Festival Season 2 are scarce, the new season is expected to arrive immediately when Fortnite Festival Season 1 concludes on Feb. 22.

Epic Games is yet to announce this date themselves, but leaker IFireMonkey shared a post on Feb. 8 claiming that the date has been locked in. Initially, players believed the new season would launch with the next season of Fortnite Battle Royale, but it could be much sooner.

Right now it isn’t clear who will be the featured artist for this season or what changes are coming to the mode, however, there has been talk circulating of a new venue joining the mix, which could be something we see in Season 2.

The good news is that Fortnite Festival isn’t going anywhere so players will be getting fresh songs and new changes very soon. Once we have official confirmation of the season’s release date this post will be updated to reflect that.
