Hyper Scape battle royale has only been out for a few days, but a meta is already forming. As with most other titles in the genre, certain weapons and items simply stand out from the rest of the pack. Just like there are a few Hacks better suited for most situations, some weapons just perform better in Hyper Scape.
Of course, this is subject to change after the Technical Test ends and Ubisoft focuses on development before launch. However, as of right now, you should consider one or two weapons the best in the game.
The best weapons in Hyper Scape
At the time of writing, the best weapon in Hyper Scape is undoubtedly the Hexfire light machine gun. While a sniper rifle might prove more efficient at long-range, the Hexfire exceeds at any given situation. With a starting magazine of 150 and base damage of 5, it’s clear to see why so many players have equipped the LMG.
The Hexfire also shoots incredibly fast, so you can knock down an enemy in a matter of seconds with well-placed shots. Unfortunately for fans of the gun, an Ubisoft developer has confirmed that a nerf is incoming.
It’s unclear if the developer means the nerf will occur before July 7, which is when the Technical Test ends. Though, either way, fans of the Hexfire won’t have much longer to enjoy it.
In terms of a weapon besides the Hexfire, we feel the Ripper is next up on the Hyper Scape tier list. As previously stated, a sniper like the Protocol V is better at long range. Still, the Ripper is a little more consistent. Admittedly, it is a bit difficult to down enemies quickly with a base damage of 11 and a medium fire rate. Even so, if you can hit your shots and reach a maximum level Fuse, the Ripper will be your best friend.
Some other contenders for the top spot are the Skybreaker launcher, Protocol V sniper, and Riot One pistol. Any combination of the aforementioned weapons will serve you well in Hyper Scape. However, we still feel the Ripper is the most consistent out of the bunch once the Hexfire receives its nerf.
