The Pokémon Company announced Wednesday the next set of Tera Raid Battle events heading to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. One of these will feature a currently unspecified Pokémon. Meanwhile, a special Valentine’s Day Tera Raid event will highlight the two-in-one mouse Pokémon, Tandemaus.

The first of these events will take place in two segments. It will initially be available from January 27-30, then again from February 10-13. During this event, players will take on a powerful seven-star Raid Boss. This means it will appear at level 100 and have the Mightiest Mark. It will also likely have the Unrivaled title and carry more than four moves, much like the seven-star Charizard and Cinderace raids that came before it.

As of now, all that is known about the Pokémon in this raid is that it will have Poison as its Tera type. This means it is most likely a Pokémon that doesn’t have Poison as one of its regular types, but no other information about it has been confirmed. It is also possible that it will be a Pokémon that does not currently appear in the Paldea Pokédex, like Charizard and Cinderace.

Valentine’s Day Tera Raid Pokémon

Meanwhile, the Normal-type Couple Pokémon Tandemaus will fittingly be the star of a special Valentine’s Day Tera Raid. This event will begin shortly after the seven-star Poison-type raid, lasting from February 13-15. During the upcoming Tera Raid Battles, trainers will take on Tandemaus that have Fairy as their Tera type.

At level 25, Tandemaus evolves into another fitting display of love: the Family Pokémon, Maushold. Tandemaus will typically evolve into the Family of Four Maushold form, a singular Pokémon that consists of four distinct mice. However, there is a 1% chance that Tandemaus will instead evolve into the slightly smaller Family of Three Maushold form.

Since it is an unevolved Pokémon, the Tandemaus from the Valentine’s Day Tera Raid event likely will not be as threatening as other recent events. Nevertheless, its 10-hit signature move Population Bomb undoubtedly makes it dangerous, especially if it has its Hidden Ability, Technician. It can also learn Play Rough, which will gain a same-type attack bonus when Tandemaus Terastallizes into a Fairy-type.

The seven-star Poison-type and Valentine’s Day Tandemaus battles will be the seventh and eighth Tera Raid Battle events in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, respectively. Previously, the following Tera Raid events took place:

  • Eevee Spotlight (November 25-27)
  • Unrivaled Charizard (December 2-4 and 16-18)
  • Tyranitar and Salamence Spotlight (December 9-11)
  • Delibird Spotlight (December 23-25)
  • Unrivaled Cinderace (December 30-January 1 and January 13-15)
  • Hydreigon and Dragapult Spotlight (January 6-8)
