TSM returns to PUBG with the WTSG roster

Team SoloMid (TSM) announced on Thursday its re-entry into PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds). The organization recently pulled out of the game, along with Rocket League, causing it to drop some players. Now TSM has revealed it will continue with PUBG with the roster formerly known as WTSG.

The new roster will feature former TSM players Ömer “Iroh” Çakıldeveli and Christopher “Fexx” Wheddon, the latter of whom had been released by TSM back on April 11 during the pullout from PUBG. The other players — Alex “vard” Gouge and Justin “MiracU” McNally — are new to the organization. WTSG’s Martin “dohfOs” Lundén also joins in a “coach and assistant manager-type role.” TSM states this team has never placed below third since the start of 2020, affirming how strong this roster is.

A history of great results

WTSG recently placed third in the Season 2 303 Royale Professional League Europe Qualifier. They also placed first or second in a series of Toby’s Tryhard Thursday tournaments, and they placed third in the recent PUBG Global Series: Berlin Europe finals and first in the Global Loot League Season 4. Each member besides Iroh and Fexx previously played for Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) before joining WTSG.

DohfOs, being TSM’s new coach, has some history working with big organizations. Before joining WTSG, he had taken on a coaching role for NiP as well as Team Kinguin. Since the beginning of 2020, he has shown nothing but good results, with his team’s aforementioned high placements recently.

TSM ended their welcome-back news stating their excitement for their new roster: “We’re very lucky to have the opportunity to sign a team as skilled as this.”

Meanwhile, previously released TSM PUBG player Jere “Jembty” Kauppinen was signed by Omaken Sports to be a part of its roster.
