Mack “MackWood” Aesoph becomes the latest Fortnite player to join Team SoloMid (TSM). MackWood is a veteran in the competitive Fortnite scene. First, he appeared in the Winter Royale back in December of 2018. Since, MackWood has made a name for himself as one of the top players in the North American East region. He sits as the 58th highest earner in Fortnite history with over $185,000 in earnings. MackWood qualified for the Fortnite World Cup with Jonathan “yung calculator” Weber. The duo finished in 16th place at the World Cup and even managed to win a game.
Most recently, MackWood’s trio won the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS). He teamed up with his World Cup duos partner, yung calculator, and Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro. The trio popped off for a big win in Game 3 of the FNCS with 14 eliminations. They consistently reached the placement threshold and eliminated 18 players during the other five games.

ZexRow leaks the move
Unfortunately, the addition of MackWood to TSM was not a surprise. After the FNCS Grand Finals, ZexRow thanked his teammates for their effort but added a little more to that statement. On Sunday night, he said, “Thank you to MackWood and Calc, of course. They should be on TSM very soon.”

Then on Monday, Sept. 23, TSM and MackWood came forward to officially announce the signing. Now, fans wait to see if yung calculator also joins TSM. Team SoloMid already boasts one of the top Fortnite rosters, which includes both competitive players and content creators. Few other gaming organizations compete with the depth of the TSM roster.
MackWood prepares for squads
At the end of the FNCS, Fortnite announced the next competitive mode will be squads. MackWood and crew wasted no time to find a fourth player to join the best trio in the North American East region. Within a few hours, MackWood, yung calculator, and ZexRow announced that Cody “Clix” Conrod will join their squad. They will be among the best teams in the region for the upcoming competitions.
