Brian Ta commented in a release:

Mobile is transforming how consumers interface with the world and how brands engage with their audiences — there’s no better organization than Tribe to help navigate this space. Tribe laid the foundation for mobile gaming content and esports, and I’m excited to continue building on their hard work to support brands, gamers, and Tribe itself within the entire mobile ecosystem.

Ta joins Tribe Gaming after previous work executing brand partnerships, media sales, and influencer campaigns while with digital platforms like Disney, Marvel Studios, Amazon, Tencent Games, and Nexon.

He last held the role of Brand Partnerships Lead with Method, where he helped secure sponsorships for the World of Warcraft-based esports organization. Before that, he led the production of paid influencer assets with esports marketing agency Ader as the Head of Campaign Management.

Jonathan Sakoucky, co-founder of Tribe Gaming, added the following:

Brian started his career by successfully helping brands through the wild west of digital advertising and influencer campaigns. He has the creativity to find new ways to add value and the execution skills to make them a reality. I’m confident he’ll be a great addition to the Tribe as we continue to grow our team and pave the way in mobile gaming.

$1 million for content and Texas HQ

Tribe Gaming recently raised $1 million in funding from celebrities and industry veterans, which included Gordon Hayward of the NBA’s Boston Celtics and Claudio Castagnoli (Cesaro) of the WWE. It will help the mobile esports organization focus on content creation and further expand with the development of its headquarters in Austin, Texas. Tribe Gaming currently fields teams in Brawl Stars, PUBG Mobile, Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, and Call of Duty Mobile.
